Completed Development Projects

Gelly Prime Booster

Gelly Prime Booster was a research and development project to evaluate a watergel booster, energised with molecular explosives (+20%). After extensive plate testing and actual open air pressure testing, data identified the product would not deliver value to industry due to the low weight strength of the formulation. The results indicated an explosives user would produce similar result using readily available Aluminised emulsion cartridged packaged explosives. Note Pheonex does not endorse the use of either product for use in bulk explosives, consult your explosives supplier Technical Data Sheet (TDS) or technical representative.
